Sydney Trio: Soléluna
Soléluna is a Sydney originals and covers band with an eclectic mix of instruments; voice, guitar, concert harp, bass, flute and sax. Soléluna performs as a trio, or as a variety of duets (see Winning Combinations).
The groove may be on a contemporary cover, an old jazz number or a popular soul tune, but singer Debbie Tennant immediately puts you at ease with with her natural sounding voice and technical versatility.
Macdonald Hamilton - equally talented on the guitar, flute and saxophone - is able to add the perfect support for Debbie, as well as being able to stun audiences with solo performances on any of his instruments.
...And just when you least expect it, the unique sound of the harp complements the band and adds to its rich 3D quality. Cliona Molins uses the harp not just for glissandos but also to provide a rich variation on tunes while playing an unconventional style of the harp with a bit of 'rhythm and groove'.
