Mike Molins B.E.S. J.D


Michael is a registered US attorney, US patent attorney and Australian patent attorney. He has over 20 years experience covering all matters relating to the legal protection and commercial exploitation of intellectual property in the US and Australian markets.

Michael also holds an Engineering Science degree from The Johns Hopkins University (Mechanics and Materials Science 1979) and a Doctoral degree in law (Univ. of Baltimore JD 1986).
As a dual US and Australian citizen, he has lived in Sydney for the past 19 years. Michael is strongly committed to building licensing and export opportunities for Australians and is also an active member of the NSW Committee of the Licensing Executive Society.

Jim Vincent

Jim is a technical assistant to Molins & Co. and an outstanding specialist in the drafting of technical documents. His particular specialty is information technology. He conducts "idea harvest" sessions for technology companies. Jim's harvests bring him into contact with engineers, programmers, and other technical specialists for the purpose of capturing and pursuing patentable ideas.

Jim is also an inventor and has had five patents awarded for his work in Office Products while with IBM. During a 30-year tenure with IBM he earned a Ninth-level Patent Achievement Award and an Outstanding Technical Achievement Award. His work at IBM alone included drafting over 200 patent disclosures. Jim is a programmer, designer, architect, and strategist for IBM software products. One of his patents was featured in the New York Times "Patents to Note" column.

He is experienced in the programming languages of COBOL, FORTRAN, BASIC and Visual Basic, C and C++, Smalltalk, REXX and Object REXX, APL, Pascal, and various assembly languages.

Steven K. Lanier, Director American World Services (AWS)

Mr. Lanier has been a leader in international marketing since 1985. Before founding American World Services in 1993, he held the position of Vice President, Commercial Marketing and Procurement at NCE Group, Inc., a marketing and sales group with revenues exceeding $10 million. In this capacity, he conducted market studies and sales efforts for a diverse group of consumer and industrial products.

Previous to this position, Mr. Lanier was Marketing Manager for an export trading company active in the Middle East and was selected to serve as an intern at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (U.S.T.R.) examining export promotion issues for this Executive Office agency.

Mr. Lanier has an M.A. in International Affairs concentrating in Trade and Development from The American University, Washington, DC and a Magna Cum Laude B.A. in Communication from Bethel College of Minnesota. He is also currently on the Board of Advisors for DC Young Life, an inner city youth group.

Michelle J. Abboud, Project Manager

Ms. Abboud has been with American World Services since 1995 and functions as marketing manager for the company's partner searches and promotional marketing campaigns. Ms. Abboud brings a strong marketing and analytical background to the company as well as a keen awareness of business issues on the international scale due to her graduate work through Georgetown University's International Business Diplomacy's Honors Program.

Prior to receiving her masters, Ms. Abboud helped found an Italian skin care products line. In this capacity she functioned as Marketing Manager, building the company's distributor base to a national level. Ms. Abboud has an M.A. in Foreign Service concentrating in International Business from Georgetown University, Washington, DC and a B.A. in Physics from Fairfield University of Connecticut.

Stephen H. Sturgeon, Director, Board of Advisors

Mr. Sturgeon is currently Director of the Board of Advisors of American World Services. He assists the corporation in marketing, project management and legal concerns. His experience has included positions with several companies including Director of Community Medical Services with Kaiser Permanente and C.E.O. of Community Radiology, a $14 million company with 130 employees.

He also has served as Development Director and Corporate Counsel for American International Healthcare, a company that grew from $4 million in sales to over $42 million during his tenure. Mr. Sturgeon holds a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, an M.B.A. from the University of Denver, and a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University.

Nathaniel H. Shcillinger, Research Analyst

Mr. Schillinger, who is currently finishing his MBA coursework in marketing and finance at the American University in Washington, DC, conducts research and analysis for market studies and partner searches. Mr. Schillinger has lived in Japan for three years while working for AEON Corporation and also worked at Lockheed Martin in the investor relations department. He holds a BA from the American University concentrating in conflict resolution and Latin America.
