Cliona Molins

Director/Kindermusik Educator

Cliona’s has a degree in the Psychology from Trinity College Dublin.  She is also a harp player and teaches the harp privately.  Cliona established Lifesong in 2004 after bringing a show called the Groove Angel to preschools.   She fell in love with this age group.

“6 years of teaching Kindermusik has been a real JOY.  My students bring such freshness to each activity.    I love to watch these little personalities develop at so many different levels.   The seeds that we sow in early childhood should never be underestimated.  “

Cliona and Mike’s children are now in high school and Cliona is working on her next CD.

Jenny Massingham

Kindermusik Educator

jenny

"Jenny's interest in music began at an early age. At 5 years old, she joined the Sydney Juniors Talent Group and has been singing and performing every since. In her school years, she studied piano and violin as well as singing and after leaving school taught the piano privately for over 15 years. She sang in rock bands, performed in a variety of venues and helped co-ordinate the Macquarie University Theatre Group. She worked professionally doing pub theatre and was a part of the troupe that formed an early version of Radio station 2DayFM's The Morning Crew.
After having her children in the late 90s Jenny resumed her studies of music and is currently completing her Associate Diploma in Music Theory. She also developed a passion for sharing music with children. She has been teaching Kindermusik with Lifesong and other Kindermusik programs since early 2005.

Jenny brings to her Kindermusik classes a joy of music and a great sense of fun.

"I love teaching the Kindermusik curriculum. It includes music from all over the world and is a great learning opportunity for children and their carers as well as a chance to have a lot of fun with music!"

Erin Kidd

Kindermusik Educator

"Singing to Erin is like breathing, the two are inseparable”. This is how Erin’s mother described Erin and her music. Erin started playing the piano and taking ballet lessons from the age of 7.

She graduated from a Bachelor of Creative Arts – Performance, from Wollongong and then won a scholarship to study Early Music in Italy and before turning her focus to Jazz and moving to London to study and perform. Erin has taught singing and English as a Foreign Language both locally and internationally. She has also worked in the production and business side of the entertainment industry, gaining an Advanced Diploma in Events Management and working on festivals, concerts and touring shows such Cirque du Soleil.

Erin is now a mother, teacher, performer and kinesiologist. Having a baby really transformed Erin’s life and she found her calling - to work with children, music and healing. Erin’s daughter Grace was born in 2008 and was brought to Kindermusik classes from 5 months of age!

In 2009 Erin started teaching Kindermusik for Rosemary Signorelli and Lifesong and now also works as a Kinesiologist.  She feels blessed to be able to combine her love of music and children in this fun and nurturing environment for families.

Erin loves seeing the amazing benefits Kindermusik brings her daughter Grace and the children in her classes.

Charlotte Walton

Enrolments Manager

charlotte and family "I am a mother of two children, Zoe aged 6 and Edward aged 3, who have both been through the Kindermusik program.  Edward is still in the ‘Imagine That’ class with Cliona and he clearly loves this class.

Coming from a musical background, being formally trained in the flute, music has always been of great importance to me. However, it was not until I had children that I realised how crucial it was for children’s development verbally, socially and cognitively.

After seeing the pure enjoyment and love of music which Kindermusik has brought to my children’s lives I joined Lifesong  in order to enable other families to experience the same positive benefits that my family has experienced .

I hope you enjoy watching your child learn and develop through Kindermusik just as I have done"
